The Métis model, whose name comes from the Latin mixtus, features a beautiful combination of Silver and 14K Rose Gold. The body of this elegant flute is made with 14K Rose Gold while the tone holes, ribs, rings, posts, box, barrel, and mechanism are made from .930 Silver. The sound is rich and supple, the weight well balanced in the hands. The perfect mixture of weight and power, the Métis has both projection and complexity.
As with all Parmenon flutes, the mechanism is silver plated to ensure a tarnish free finish. The Métis is customizable by choosing B or C footjoint, in-line or offset G keys, or by adding addition mechanisms like the Split-E, C# trill, Parmenon G#, or Parmenon Low B resonator. Further customization is possible with gold plating of the mechanism, 14K footjoint box and barrel, or key engraving.
